Fairytale

A collaborative dance project conceived by Niusha Karkehabadi and Jack Murphy on July 4th 2022 on the intersection between childhood fantasies and adulthood desires; utilizing camp, fantasy, dolls, ballet, breaking gender roles and everything else we felt we couldn’t be or entertain. We blur the lines between who we are and how we are seen through play, laughter, and struggle. Fairytale has been presented at Dixon Place and Triskelion Arts Center as a part of Wax Works Productions in 2023.
